An Evening of Faith, Fellowship, and Mission

Join us on Friday, April 25, 2025, for the St. Gianna Banquet, an evening dedicated to celebrating the transformative impact of the St. Teresa of Calcutta Newman Center and the power of vocational discernment in shaping the future of the Church.

Newman Centers across the nation continue to inspire generational change, helping students deepen their faith and respond to God’s call. Here at St. Teresa’s, we witness this transformation every day—through Mass, sacraments, Bible studies, retreats, and community engagement. This banquet is a night to celebrate these blessings and help shape the future of Catholic life at UNK, including the vision for a new church at 1601 University Drive.

This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Kristina Pakiz, will share a powerful testimony of how vocational discernment led her to embrace her calling in medicine, marriage, and motherhood. Her story is a moving testament to the ways God guides us, even when the path forward seems uncertain.

Enjoy an inspiring program, a wonderful meal at the Younes Conference Center, and an opportunity to support the Newman Center’s mission, ensuring that students continue to receive sacraments, faith formation, and a thriving Catholic community.
